About me
I have over thirty years’ experience as geography teacher, head of department and pastoral lead in three maintained schools and one independent school. I led my current department to become a Geographical Association Centre of Excellence.
I am an author of a range of geographical texts and resources, including for Oak National Academy, Collins, Tutor2U. I also present videos for Tutor2U and live presentation for their Youtube channel. I regularly lecture at the Geographical Association Conference and at various TeachMeet events. Among various specialisms, I offer a wide range of experience in the use of Geographical Information Systems (GIS) in schools. I support other schools in many ways e.g. primary school networks; GIS training and support.
I also regularly contribute to Initial Teacher Training (ITT) and the Early Career Framework (ECF).
