About me
The purpose of the Assessment and Examinations Special Interest Group (AESIG) is to support GA members in all phases with their assessment and progression practices in geography and related curriculum areas.
What we doAESIG is involved in:
a. Monitoring matters to do with assessment, examinations and progression.
b. Providing support and technical expertise in assessment practice
c. Anticipating developments in assessment and examinations, and considering their implications for progression, initiating discussion and when relevant publishing papers or writing reports.
d. Disseminating innovations and good practice to GA members.
e. Advising the GA on matters to do with assessment and examinations. To work with other professional and statutory bodies as necessary.
