About me
Hi, I am the Head of Geography at Eltham College, South East London. I have been teaching for over 20 years. have been Head of Department in 3 schools as well as four years as Assistant Head (Teaching & Learning). I have taught a wide range of A Level and GCSE specifications over the years and I teach both physical and human geography. I am a member of the GA's Independent Schools Special Interest Group, Fieldwork and Outdoor Learning Special Interest Group, I write for the Hachette Wide World magazine and examine at both A Level and GCSE. I was formerly the chair of the ISSIG and Vice Chair of the GA Education Group. I am currently teaching the CIE A Level and Pearson iGCSE courses. I am keen to connect teachers of CIE A Level as the specification is changing next year and the conference will provide an excellent opportunity to collaborate, especially with the exciting new human topics being introduced, which are similar to the home specification ones I have taught previously. I really look forward to meeting up with everyone at the conference!
